A. Qualification Requirements : The applicant and their parents must all be foreigners (holders of foreign nationality) who have completed (or are expected to complete) a high school education in Korea or abroad.
B. Educational Requirements : Applicants must have completed an educational program equivalent to Korea's primary and secondary education (or at least 12 years), whether in Korea or abroad.
C. Language Ability : Applicants must possess at least Level 2 in the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK).(Note : Holders of Level 2 are required to complete more than 300 hours of Korean language training within one year of enrollment)

※ Government-invited and foreign government-supported scholars must comply with the selection criteria and guidelines for the given year.

Important Notes for Submission
• Only one application is permitted per selection period.
• All information on the admission application and accompanying documents must be accurate. *The applicant is responsible for any disadvantages arising from inaccuracies in the provided information.
• Applications with incomplete documents will be disqualified, and submitted documents will not be returned.
• Notifications of acceptance and standard admission permits will be issued simultaneously with the announcement of successful candidates (individual notification).

[Documents Issuance and Submission Guidelines]
1. All documents not written in Korean must be accompanied by a translation certified by the Korean consulate or diplomatic mission in the country where the originating school is located.
2. The principle requires submission of original documents.
3. If names vary across the submitted documents, attach a separate certificate to prove they all pertain to the same individual.
4. Requests for additional documents beyond those submitted may occur.
5. High school graduates must submit their graduation certificates to the International Exchange Center at Jeonnam State University before the admission date. Failing to provide the graduation certificate on time without a valid excuse will lead to cancellation of the admission offer.
6. High school graduation (expected) certificates and transcripts must be submitted using one of these three methods:
1) Documents like diplomas (academic credentials) certified by Apostille.
2) Academic credentials verified by the Korean consulate or diplomatic mission in the country of the originating school.
3) Degree certification report issued by the Ministry of Education Credential Verification Center in China, applicable only to those who obtained educational qualifications and degrees within China.
7. Submission of forged documents, proven falsehoods in entries, ineligibility of the applicant, or fraudulent admission methods will result in cancellation of admission and enrollment, even after admission has been granted.
8. Once processed, changes or cancellations to the application entries are not permitted.

Tuition (Deposit) Payment and Refund

A. Tuition (Deposit) Payment
1) Successful candidates must pay their tuition (deposit) within the designated payment period using the specified methods. Failure to pay will be interpreted as a lack of intent to enroll and will result in admission being withdrawn.
2) If a candidate has acceptances from multiple universities, they are required to pay tuition to only one institution within the specified registration period.
3) Candidates accepted during early admissions must first pay the deposit (80,000 KRW) and then the remaining tuition during the registration period.
※ Failure to pay the full tuition within the defined payment period, even after the deposit has been paid, will result in the admission being considered withdrawn (Withdrawal documentation must be submitted after the payment period.)
4) Candidates whose tuition fees are fully covered by scholarships must still process a tuition payment of "0" KRW through the designated bank within the registration period to finalize their registration. Neglecting this process will result in admission being considered withdrawn.

B. Tuition (Deposit) Refund
1) In cases of withdrawal, relevant forms must be downloaded from the notices on the admissions information page (admission homepage).
2) Methods of submission : In-person or by fax (061-380-8508).
※ If using fax, it is mandatory to confirm receipt of documents with the Admissions Office.
3) Required Submission Documents
- One copy each of the Admission Withdrawal Form and the Tuition Refund Request Form.
- One copy of the applicant’s bank account statement (if the account is not in the applicant’s name, an additional family relationship certificate must be submitted).
- One copy of the applicant’s ID.
4) Tuition Refund Claim Period ends at 16:00 on February 28, 2025 (Friday).
5) Refunds requested after the tuition refund claim period will follow the university's tuition regulations.
6) Submission of admission withdrawal documents will result in cancellation of admission.

Important Information for Candidates

1) Guidance Regarding Violation of University Admission Application Methods:
- Candidates (including initial and additional successful candidates) admitted to rolling admission universities (industrial, educational, and specialized colleges included) are not eligible to apply for regular or self-scheduled (additional) admissions, irrespective of their registration status
※ Applicants must confirm their status regarding additional admissions at the applied universities to ensure no disadvantages occur.
- Candidates (including initial and additional successful candidates) admitted to rolling admission universities (industrial, educational, and specialized colleges included) are not eligible to apply for regular or self-scheduled (additional) admissions, irrespective of their registration status
2) Registration for Successful Candidates:
- The confirmation deposit for rolling admissions must be paid to only one university, and registering at two or more universities for the same semester is strictly prohibited.
- If successful candidates for rolling or regular admissions receive notification of additional successful candidacy from another university during the announcement period, they must promptly communicate their intention to withdraw from any university they do not wish to register with within that period.
3) Permissible Scope for Multiple Applications:
- There is no limit on the number of applications for specialized college rolling admissions, and candidates are allowed to submit applications between specialized colleges or between specialized colleges and four-year universities.
- Applications to multiple programs within the same admission period at our university are not permitted. However, candidates successful in the first phase of rolling admissions may apply for a different department in the second phase.
※ Candidates who are successful in both the first and second phases of rolling admissions must select and register for only one department.
4) Measures Against Violations of Multiple Applications and Double Registration
- After the admission process, all data related to the applications, acceptances, and registrations of incoming freshmen will be electronically reviewed. Admission will be canceled if any cases of prohibited application methods or double registration are detected.
※ Universities established by special laws are not subject to the rules against multiple applications and double registration.
5) Once submitted, documents cannot be altered, canceled, or returned.
6) Details of scores and assessments from the admissions process will remain confidential.
7) Our university accepts no responsibility for disadvantages resulting from loss of contact during the admissions period.
8) Should fraudulent means to secure admission or acceptance be discovered, the respective acceptance or admission will be revoked, even after enrollment.
9) Applicants are responsible for any disadvantages resulting from failure to review the recruitment guidelines and important notices.
10) General leaves of absence are not permitted during the first semester of the first year following admission.
11) Our university maintains a policy of non-discrimination against students based on physical, mental, or racial differences, focusing solely on academic ability.
12) Any matters not specified in the recruitment guidelines will be handled according to the decisions of our university's Admissions Management Committee.
